Subscription Update Obituary

    Irene A. (Mahoney) Dadah, 66, of North Grafton and formerly of Worcester, died Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009 in the UMass-Memorial Medical Center, after an illness.

    She leaves two sons, Anthony J. Dadah Jr. and his wife Kim of North Grafton, and Stephen G. Dadah of South Grafton; a sister, Colleen of Auburn; a brother, Terrence E. Mahoney of Worcester; five grandchildren, Shaina Dadah, Anthony J. Dadah III, Melanie Dadah, Ryan Dadah and Aden Dadah; and nieces and nephews.

    Irene was born in Worcester, daughter of Francis W. and Irene E. (Cloutier) Mahoney and has lived in North Grafton ten years. She graduated from Commerce High School and Quinsigamond Community College, both in Worcester.

    Irene worked preparing employee training manuals for Mass. financial companies. Previously, she was a secretary at the Worcester County Courthouse.

    She enjoyed crocheting, especially creating gifts for others. She took every opportunity to help anyone in her path.

    Calling hours are Thursday, Nov. 12 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester. The funeral will be Friday, Nov. 13 from the funeral home with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 17 Waterville St., North Grafton. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
