Subscription Update Obituary

     Hugh A. Donnelly, 74, passed away Saturday, January 25th.

    Hugh leaves four children, Hugh R. Donnelly and his wife Brenda, Karen J. Hall and her husband Jeffrey, Mary D. Donnelly and her fiancé Elio Climento and Patricia K. Milott and her husband Patrick all of Worcester; five siblings, Richard Donnelly of Worcester, Doris Darling of Leicester, Carol Zukowsky of Auburn, Linda Hainsworth of Oxford and Kathleen Hassett of Florida; seven grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Hugh’s sister, Joan Hall predeceased him.

     Hugh was born in Worcester the son of Hugh R. and Doris (Lovely) Donnelly and graduated from South High School. Hugh served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He worked for 32 years as a truck driver for the Teamster Local 170 retiring in 1996. He was a member of the Main South American Legion Post #341 and the Alhambra Council #88 Knights of Columbus. Hugh loved spending time with his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all of them.

     Visiting hours for Hugh will be held on Tuesday, January 28th from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Boys Town New England, Bazarsky Campus,58 Flanagan Rd. Portsmouth, RI 02871.
