Hildegarde A. (Johnson) Kinell, 74, of 732 Royal Oak Drive, Winter Garden, Fla., formerly of Rutland, died April 25 in Winter Garden.
Her husband of 35 years, Edwin E. Kinell, predeceased her in May, 1997. She is survived by her daughter, Lauren S. Pusateri of West Boylston; sons, David E. Kinell of Barre, and Andrew J. Kinell of Winter Garden; and seven grandchildren.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of Carl Eric and Alice (Nelson), Johnson, and lived in Keene, NH and in several towns in the Worcester area, including 18 years in Rutland. She lived 20 years in Winter Garden. She graduated from Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Worcester, in 1960 and was a Registered Nurse at Holden District Hospital, Holden, for many years.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at The First Congregational Church of West Boylston, 26 Central Street. After cremation, burial will be at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, the family will be accepting contributions for a memorial gift being made, in Hildy’s name, to the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals-Angell Animal Medical Center.
