Helen N. (Gendreau) Daley, 90, of 35 Pleasant St., died Friday, March 24 at Quaboag on the Common in West Brookfield. She was the wife of Royal J. Daley who died in 1990. She leaves a son William A. Daley and his wife Patricia of Oakham; a daughter, B. Ann Beadle of Livermore, California; a brother Robert Gendreau of Tucson, Arizona; 3 grandchildren: Ryan Daley, Kristen Conti, Scott Beadle; 2 great-grandchildren: Jared Daley and Julia Conti; 2 step-grandchildren, Kathy Specker and Karen Latwis.
She was pre-deceased by 2 sisters Louise Lacaire and Claire Mitchell and a brother Arthur Gendreau, Jr.
Born in Northhampton, MA she was the daughter of Arthur H. & Blanche (Descoteau) Daley. Mrs. Daley was a Licensed Practical Nurse working for the Spencer Health Department and area nursing homes, retiring in the 1980’s. She was a graduate of David Prouty High School in Spencer and Becker College, Worcester. She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Spencer and the Lashaway Senior Citizens Club.
