Subscription Update Obituary

     Helen M. (Ostromecki) Lloyd, 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 23, 2007 in the Jewish Healthcare Rehabilitation Center. She had lived with her grandson John Whittemore.

     Her husband William H. Lloyd died in 1997. She leaves a daughter, Judith A. Shute of East Brookfield and a son, Carter F. Lloyd & his wife Linda of Princeton. She also leaves a sister, Anna Suchomel of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; 9 grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren; a childhood friend, Stasia Jablonski of Hopedale, a sister-in-law, Florece Brusa of North Uxbridge and several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Raymond C. Lloyd in 2004, 4 brothers, Walter, Frank, John & Joe and a sister, Mary Morkunas.

     She was born in Hopedale the daughter of Walter & Julia (Ackerman) Ostromecki and has lived in Worcester most of her life. She worked at Parker Manufacturing for many years and was a Patient Assistant at Westboro State Hospital for several years until her retirement. She enjoyed trips to the casino with her daughter.

     A private graveside service will be held in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. There are no calling hours. Please omit flowers. Donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. Pillsbury Funeral Home, 44 Gilbert St., North Brookfield is directing arrangements.
