   Helen I. (Maki) Barron, 87, of Worcester, died Wednesday, May 14th in Millbury Healthcare Center.

   She is survived by her husband of 66 years, M. Joseph Barrron; her children, David M. and his wife, Patricia Barron of Ashburnham and Nancy A. and her husband, James Whalen of Worcester; 4 grandchildren, Erin Whalen of Charleston, SC, Brendan Whalen of Bellingham, WA, Cheryl Barron of Ashburnham and Eric, and his wife, Erica Barron of Inwood, WV.

   She was born in Fitchburg, the daughter of Arvid and Elli (Rautio) Maki, and was a graduate of Fitchburg High School.

   Mrs. Barron had been a member of Quinsigamond Lodge, Vasa Order of America.

   Funeral services and burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the, Healing Heart Hospitality House, c/o C. Lewis, 15 Paul Place, Whitinsville, MA 01588. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
