Subscription Update Obituary

     Helen G. (Cleary) Casavant, 84, of Worcester, died Wednesday, August 15th in Westborough Health Care Center after a period of declining health. Her husband, Edward P. Casavant, died in 1980, and her son, Paul Casavant, died in 1988.
    
She leaves 3 daughters: Linda A., wife of Barry Wakefield of Worcester, Susan J., wife of Robert Weisman of Ashland and Judith H., wife of Leo Audette of Rutland; 5 grandchildren: Matthew and Michael Wakefield, Heather and Nathan Audette and Ross Weisman; a brother, Thomas J. Cleary of Worcester; 2 sisters: Mary Keeney of Cape Cod and Alice Metros of Leominster. She was predeceased by 4 sisters: Kay Whalen, Elizabeth Lund, Joan Lucas and Mildred Cleary, and 2 brothers: Gordon and Albert Cleary.
    
She was born in North Sydney, Nova Scotia, the daughter of Thomas and Mary (McGrath) Cleary. She will be forever remembered as a fun and loving mother and wonderful nana.
    
The funeral is Saturday, August 18th from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Stephen's Church, 357 Grafton Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Friday, August 17th from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Place West, Brookline, MA 02445.
