Subscription Update Obituary

     Helen E. (Dennis) Desroches, 85, of Worcester, died Tuesday, May 17, 2011 in St. Vincent Hospital. Her husband of 55 years, Donald H. Desroches, died in 2002. She leaves her daughter, Patricia and her husband Lawrence Vigeant of Holden; two sons: Joseph Desroches and his wife Lisa of Rutland and Michael Desroches and his wife Mary of Rutland; six grandchildren: Steven, Melissa, Shelley, Hayleigh, Jared and Michaela; five great-grandchildren: Zachary, Kyra, Peper, Teagen and Ryan. A brother, Henry Dennis, predeceased her. She was born August 11, 1925 in Worcester, daughter of Henry and Helen (Bennett) Dennis.

     Helen attended Worcester Public Schools and worked in several different companies in Worcester, retiring from Rad Lock Company. She was a member of the Chester P. Tuttle Post in Auburn. Helen loved spending time with family and friends and will be missed by all.

     The funeral will be held Saturday, May 21, from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass 10 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Visiting Hours are Friday, May 20 from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the VNA Care Network, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, 01608.
