Subscription Update Obituary

     Heidi A. (Egenlauf) Clay, 40, of Worcester passed away Wednesday, September 4th 2013 with family by her side.
     Heidi was born and raised in Worcester. She graduated from Worcester Vocational Technical High and has lived here all her life.
     Heidi is survived by her husband of seven years, Steven L. Clay, her three children, Andrew, Thomas and Jenna, and step daughter Brittany all of Worcester; her devoted parents who are always there to help and support, Howard and Doris M. (Chiasson) Egenlauf of Worcester; three sisters, Laurie Reed of Plymouth NH, Cissy Brown and Paula Dzivasen both of Worcester; two brothers, Thomas W. Egenlauf of Worcester and Von Bucek of Pittsburg; Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Neices and nephews. A brother Shawn Egenlauf predeceased her in 1999. Heidi worked as assistant manager for the DB Mart in Worcester.
     Heidi’s interests were her children, crafts, fishing, movies and playing with her children. They were the world to her.
     Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Sunday, September 8th from 3 pm to 6 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral will be held Monday, September 9th from the Funeral home with a Mass at 10:00 am at St Andrew the Apostle Church, 1 Spaulding St. Burial will follow next to her brother in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. The family requests that flowers be omitted and memorial contributions be made to the Clay children Benefit fund, care of Peoples United Bank, 75 Gold Star Blvd, Worcester Mass. 01605.
