Hazel M. (Bullens) Grampetro Savko, 75, of 216 Pakachoag St., died Saturday, March 29, at home.
She leaves her husband of 32 years, Peter J. Savko; two daughters, Barbara Hulley of Flatrock, N.C., and Joyce Forrester of Worcester; two sons, Alfred D. Grampetro of Hudson and Alfred R. Grampetro of Auburn; a sister Mary Leahy of Auburn; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Her first husband, Alfred D. Grampetro, died in 1958. Four brothers, Harry, John, Edward, and Robert Bullens, and three sisters, Jelen Malboeuf, Florence Hill, and Margaret Sadowski, also predeceased her. She was born in the Jefferson section of Holden, daughter of Harry J. and Annie (Maxfield) Bullens, and lived here for many years. She attended Sacred Heart Academy in Worcester.
Mrs.Savko worked as a deli manager for Hodes Markets in Worcester, North Grafton, and Spencer before retiring. She was a member of North American Martyrs Church, and enjoyed music, dancing, and sewing.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, April 1, from Britton Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St. with a mass at 10 a.m. in North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Drive. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 31, in the funeral home.
