Subscription Update Obituary

Gregorio “Chooch” Pacheco, Sr., 74, passed away peacefully surrounded family, Thursday, February 16, 2012 in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves his wife of 42 years, Virginia L. (Judson) Pacheco; ten children, Reynaldo Figueroa, Gregorio Pacheco, Jr., Wilfredo Pacheco, Michael Pacheco, Christopher Pacheco, David Pacheco, Carmen Pacheco, Lisa Craig, Christine Pacheco-Gracia and Robyn Larson; seventeen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was born in Puerto Rico, son of Jacinto and Carmen (Galagarza) Figueroa. Chooch was a meat cutter for Chicago Beef, retiring several years ago.

Visiting Hours are Thursday, February 23 from 6 to 8 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:45PM in CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle. Burial will be private in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
