Gordon E. Mills, 72, beloved husband of Bonnie (Malm) Mills, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 20, 2025. Born in Holyoke, he was the son of the late Norman and Jean (Griffin) Mills

He was a graduate of Wachusett Regional High School. Gordon went on to further his education at the University of Massachusetts Lowell where he earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Gordon proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

Gordon met and married the love of his life, Bonnie, at the First Baptist Church in Worcester where they sang in the choir together, he was the kindest man she ever knew. He was a faithful and dedicated member of the Millbury Baptist Church. Gordon was very sociable and was always ready to lend a helping hand to friends and strangers alike. He was an active member of the Northeast Chevy GMC Truck Club as well as the Straw Hollow Tractor Club where he had many friends.

He will be lovingly missed and remembered by his wife of 36 years, Bonnie Mills of Holden; his son, Michael Mills of Berlin; a brother, Stephen Mills and his wife, Leanne of Worcester; and his granddaughter, Charity MacNeil. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Bradford Mills.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather with Gordon’s family from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 29 at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, June 30 at Miles Funeral Home, followed by a burial at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton. In lieu of flowers donations in Gordon’s name may be made to the Millbury Baptist Church, Building Fund, 17 N, Main Street, Millbury, MA 01527.
