Gloria J. (Browne) Taylor, 79, a resident of Sandalwood Nursing Home and formerly of Webster, died Tuesday at Saint Vincent Hospital.
    Her husband was the late Reginald G. Taylor who died in 1987. She is survived by her son Richard C. Taylor of Sturbridge, 3 grandsons Jason Taylor of Webster, Ryan Taylor of Sturbridge, and Nicholas Taylor of Rochdale, and 2 very close family friends Dennis Luukko, and Celeste Stevens. She was predeceased by 2 sons Robert Taylor (1976) and David W. Taylor (2008).
     She was born in Worcester, daughter of Robert W. and Lillian (Desourdis) Browne.
Mrs. Taylor worked for many years at New England Plating Mfg. in Worcester. She enjoyed watching old movies, loved animals and was a film collector.
    Services will be private. Sansoucy Funeral Home 40 Marcy St. Southbridge is directing the arrangements.
