Subscription Update Obituary

     Gloria B. (Spalding) Loomis, 98, died peacefully on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Holden Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Facility, Holden.

Gloria was born in Worcester, daughter of the late George W. and Beatrice R. (Robinson) Loomis. She has lived in Holden for almost 70 years. A longtime homemaker, she attended the Chaffin Congregational Church in Holden.

Her beloved husband of 59 years, Everett S. Loomis died in 2001. She is survived by her only son, Donald S. Loomis of Jefferson. She was also predeceased by her brother, George Spaulding.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside funeral service on Wednesday, July 2 at 11 a.m. in the Worcester County Memorial Park (Section Heritage I), 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton. There are no visiting hours.
