Subscription Update Obituary

     Geraldine E. (Carlstrom) Leno, 87, of 1073 Main St., died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, at The Meadows of Leicester.
     She was the wife of Alba E. Leno, Jr. who died in 1996. She leaves two sons, R. James Leno of Colo., and Robert J. Leno and his wife Debra of Rochdale; two daughters, Sandra J. Roche of Worcester and Patricia A. Baptist and her husband Floyd of Kailua, Oahu, Hawaii; three sisters, JoAnn DeWolfe of Westborough, Loretta Twichell of Holden and Shirley Johnson of Washington; 5 grandchildren, and 6 great grand children, many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her grandson, Nathan Plaza and brothers, Peter, Ansel, Harley, Malcolm and William Carlstrom and sisters, Nettie Carlstrom, Josephine Chilton and Doris Plante.
     Geraldine worked at Dodge Park Rest Home for several years as a nurse’s aide. She enjoyed singing, playing the piano, gardening, photography and always could tell a “good story”.
Born in Stockholm, Me., she was the daughter of Peter and Bessie (McGuire) Carlstrom. The family would like to thank the staff at the Meadows of Leicester for the love and care she received over the years.
     Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 27 at 10 a.m. in the MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Sunday, from 3 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leicester High Boosters Club, P.O. Box 312, Leicester, Ma. 01524.
