George Joseph Davis Jr., 60, of Webster, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025. Born in Queens, New York on May 17, 1964, he was the son of George J. Davis Sr. and the late Dorothy M. Davis (Leist).

George leaves behind his beloved son Corey J. Davis and daughter-in-law Lauren (Caruso), and his cherished grandsons Wyatt, Walker, and Weston. He is also survived by his sisters: Dorothy Capone and her husband Tony Capone, Louise Weagle, Irene Mossa and her husband Philip Mossa, and Stephanie Thorin and her husband Joseph Thorin Sr. He will be deeply missed by numerous nieces and nephews.

For over 22 years, George was a dedicated employee at the Auburn Home Depot, where he worked overnight shifts. A passionate and energetic individual, George had a zest for life that was truly unique. He was an avid bowler, achieving multiple perfect 300 games, and proudly volunteered with the Central Mass Special Olympics, participating in both bowling and bocce ball events. His generous spirit and commitment to his community earned him the respect and admiration of many.

George’s interests were as diverse as his personality. He had a lifelong love of wrestling, concerts, and sports teams, including the Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics, Pittsburgh Steelers, and the New York Yankees. His playful nature was ever-present, known for his humorous antics like barking at people and making monkey sounds to entertain children. He was truly a big kid at heart, finding immense joy in spending time with his grandchildren and family. His lightheartedness and sense of humor brought joy to all who crossed his path.

George will be remembered by his family and friends for his boundless energy, infectious laughter, and his deep love for those he cherished. George also possessed the most beautiful and unique blue eyes. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of all whose lives he touched.

A private funeral and reception will be held at a future date.
