Subscription Update Obituary

George I. Loche, 90, formerly of Worcester, died Sunday, December 31st in UMass Memorial Hospital. His wife of 30 years, Effie (Vasil) Loche died in 1972. He is survived by 2 sons, Steven Loche of Millis and John Loche of Belmont; a brother, Andon Loche and a sister, Eleftteria Dhoksia both of Albania; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. He was predeceased by 2 sisters.

He was born in Albania, the son of Ilia and Renjo (Zhaka) Loche. Mr. Loche owned and operated the Pastry Box for 12 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church.

The funeral is Wednesday, January 3rd from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a service at 10:00 AM in St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church, 535 Salisbury Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park. Calling hours are Tuesday, January 2nd from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church, 535 Salisbury Street, Worcester, MA 01609.
