Subscription Update Obituary

   George Kelly, Jr., 63, of Shrewsbury, died Monday, December 31st in UMass-Memorial Hospital, Memorial Campus. He leaves a son, Shaun L. Kelly of South Grafton; 2 daughters, Laura L. Derieux of Williamstown, NJ and Cara M. Outten of Franklinville, NJ; 2 sisters, Charlene M. Donahue of Worcester and Christine M. Zeigler of Washington; 5 grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, the son of George E. Kelly, Sr. and Eva M. (St. Pierre) Kelly and lived in the area all his life.

   Mr. Kelly was an auto body technician at ComGas and NStar for more than 20 years, retiring in 2001. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, having served upon the U.S.S. Farragut. Mr. Kelly enjoyed fishing and camping, especially in Bourne. The funeral is Friday, January 4th, with a service at 11:00 A.M. in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A visiting hour will be from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Friday in the funeral home.
