Geneva M. (Lavallee) Cardinal, 79, of 164 Baker Hill Rd., died Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester after a brief illness.

    She leaves two daughters, Sheila M. Fahey and her husband Kevin with whom she lived, and Linda Masiello of Florida; a son, Arthur Cardinal, Jr. and his wife Katherine of E. Brookfield; four brothers, Lawrence Lavallee of Auburn, Roland Lavallee of Sturbridge, Armand Lavallee of Rochdale and Robert Lavallee of Spencer; two sisters, Lorraine Dixon of Worcester and Lena Blair of Vermont; five grandchildren, Christy, Robert, Tina, Arthur III and Tanya, several great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

    She was born in Winooski, Vt., the daughter of Joseph and Esther (Brisson) Lavallee and lived in Spencer for many years before moving to E. Brookfield in 1990. She was a member of the Lashaway Senior Citizens Club. She enjoyed the ocean, trips to the casino and her dogs “Pearl & Heidi”.

    At her request, no funeral services are planned. The family request that flowers be omitted and contributions made to the E. Brookfield Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 356, E. Brookfield, Ma. 01515.
