Subscription Update Obituary

     Frederick W. "Bill" Cantello, 88, of Worcester, died Friday, September 7th, in his home.  He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Rita A. (Poirier) Cantello; 3 sons, Francis X. and his wife, Elizabeth Cantello of Fort Wayne, IN, W. Peter and his wife, Maha Cantello of Littleton, CO and James M. Cantello of Worcester; a sister, Beverly Lewis of Worcester; 3 grandchildren, Wendy Gatcliffe, Kim Cantello and Craig Cantello; 2 great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
    
He was born in Worcester, the son of Frederick and Florence (Army) Cantello.  Mr. Cantello was a World War II Army veteran and had been employed as a machinist for Crompton and Knowles for over 35 years. He was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church and the Rutland Historical Society.
    
The funeral is Wednesday, September 12th from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 5 Spaulding Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Tuesday, September 11th from 4:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
