Subscription Update Obituary

Frank J. Smeagle, Jr., of Worcester, died Sunday, October 8 in his home.

He leaves his sister, Barbara A. Baniukiewicz of Worcester; and aunts, uncles and cousins. He was born in Worcester, son of Frank J. and Annie E. (Norton) Smeagle and lived here all his life.

Mr. Smeagle was an office worker and worked several years for Memorial Hospital and before that for Riley Stoker Co. He retired several years ago. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War era. He was a member of Ascension Church. Mr. Smeagle graduated from Commerce High School and Becker Junior College.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 11 with a Mass at 12:00 NOON in Ascension Church, 40 Vernon St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ascension Church, 48 Vernon St., Worcester, MA 01610 HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., is directing funeral arrangements.
