Subscription Update Obituary

     Frank J. Pina, Sr., 56, of 134 Main St., died Monday, Nov. 25th, 2013 in Spencer.

     He leaves two sons, Matthew J. Pina of Holden and Frank J. Pina, Jr. of Moreno Valley, CA; a daughter, Jessica L. Pina of Riverside, CA; his father, William Pina of Webster; four grandchildren, Falecity, Michael, Kaylee and Frank J. Pina, III; two brothers, Ricardo and Tony Pina of Worcester; five sisters, Belinda Pina of Spencer, Pamela Merchant of Sturbridge, Lisa Rogers of Columbia, NC, Robin Bailey of SC and Michelle Bailly of Worcester; many nieces and nephews.

     Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late Claire (Boston) Pina Dsane and later graduated from David Prouty High School in Spencer in 1974. He attended Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester. He was a Fourth Degree member and board director of the Knights of Columbus #118 in Spencer and the Bishop O’Reilly Assembly in Worcester. He once served as an Auxiliary Spencer Policeman, former member of the Spencer Fire Dept. and former EMT for the Spencer Rescue Squad.

     A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mary, Queen of the Rosary Food Pantry, 60 Maple St., Spencer, 01562.
