Subscription Update Obituary

     Frank H. "Lucky Luke" Lucas, 84, of Westborough, died suddenly on Sunday, September 23, 2007 at home. He was the husband of the late Joanne (Mossa) Lucas.

     Born in Niagra Falls, NY, he was the son of the late John and Maria Lucas and was educated in the Niagra Falls school system. During WW II he served with the U.S. Army where he received the WWII Victory Medal, a Good Conduct Medal and a Purple Heart.

     Mr. Lucas was employed as a spot welder for General Motors in Framingham. In later years he was a delivery driver for Pharmacy Corporation of America in Worcester.

     He was a member of the VFW Post 1385 in Uxbridge and the American Legion Post 77 in Ashland. He was a communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church and also a member of the New England Country Music Club, the Westborough Senior Center, where he played pool every Monday and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots Fan.

     Frank is survived by three sons, Paul E. Lucas of Somersworth, NH, Scott E. Ricker of Southwick, MA and Michael F. Lucas of Wainae, Hawaii; three daughters, Janet Y. Therrien of Lebanon, ME, Rose Marie Hall of Wheelwright, MA and Lisa A. Mascroft of Pinellas Park, FL; 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by two other wives, Doris Lucas and Martha Lucas and a son, David H. Lucas and a dear friend, Blanche Kalagher.

     His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 28, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial, with Military Honors, will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours at the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough, are Thursday, September 27, from 5 to 8 P.M.
