Subscription Update Obituary

   Francis R. O'Coin, 64, of 4 Main Street, Sterling, died Thursday, March 27th in St. Vincent Hospital.

   He leaves his wife of 44 years, Winifred M. "Bonnie" (Dowd) O'Coin; a son, David F. O'Coin of Worcester; three daughters, Elaine C. Millett of Southbridge, Paula J. wife of Jeff Hooper of Holden and Winnie Marsden of Hampton, NH; four sisters, Rose Marie "Ginger" Streeter of Sterling, Diane Purrington of Fitzwilliam, NH, Sandra Brown of Sarasota, FL and Mary Senecal of Arivaca, AZ; twelve grandchildren; several nephews and nieces. His son, Michael R. O'Coin died in 1999 and five brothers, Russell, Ernie, Dennis, Jon Paul and Richard O'Coin predeceased him.

   Mr. O'Coin was born in Worcester on September 5, 1943, the son of Clair F. and Rita M. (Frenier) O'Coin. He attended Worcester Public Schools and was a graduate of Worcester Boys' Trade School. Mr. O'Coin enjoyed camping with his family, fishing, singing to the kids, BINGO with his sister and spending time with family and friends. He truly enjoyed life.

   The funeral is Monday, March 31st with a service at 10:00 AM in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Sunday, March 30th from 5:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
