Subscription Update Obituary

     Frances T. (Samko) Warowicz Wojnarowicz, 87, died Monday, September 17, 2007 at home after an illness.
    
Her husband of 32 years, John J. Wojnarowicz, died in 1973. She leaves a son, John J. Wojnarowicz and his wife Kathleen of Holden; her twin sister, Sister Salvatore Samko of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth in Philadelphia, PA; two grandchildren, Matthew Wojnarowicz and his wife Katelyn of Rutland and Breanne Wojnarowicz of Holden; two great-grandchildren, Brendan and Delaney; nephews and nieces. Her brothers, Charles and Alphonse Samko predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Joseph and Stefanie (Moszczynska) Samko and was a lifelong resident.
    
Frances graduated from Commerce High School and Becker Jr. College. She worked many years at Goral Optical in Worcester and the Worcester Hearing Aid Center. She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.
    
The funeral Mass for Mrs. Wojnarowicz will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 20th in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, Development Office, 4001 Grant Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114-2999. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden is directing arrangements.
