    Frances M. (Hickey) Gilbert, 68, of 39 Craig Street in the Rochdale section of Leicester died Wednesday, Dec. 30 in St. Vincent Hospital after an illness.

    She leaves a daughter, Cindy M. Ward and her husband Ronald of Leicester; a granddaughter, Natalia E. Ward of Leicester and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

    Mrs. Gilbert was born in Worcester daughter of John T. and Margaret (Cooney) Hickey. She graduated from St. Peter Marion High School in Worcester. She worked in various capacities at the Worcester Club for many years. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church. She enjoyed playing bingo and participated in Operation Ranger Rosary in Worcester.

    A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, Jan. 6 at 10:00 AM in St. Pius X Church, 1153 Main Street, Leicester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester is directing arrangements.
