Flora M. (Bourque) Messier, 92 of Shrewsbury and formerly of Worcester, died Friday, July 23, 2010 at the UMass Memorial Hospital, Worcester.
Her husband, Joseph A. Messier died in 1987.
She leaves her two daughters, Andrea Miller of Shrewsbury and Donna Messier of Worcester; her four grandchildren, H. Scott Miller, Stephen T. Miller, Christopher A. Miller and Jennifer L. Miller; as well as 10 great grandchildren.
She was born in Lynn, daughter of the late Raymond and Helen (Ximness) Bourque, and lived many years in Worcester prior to moving to Shrewsbury 23 years ago.
A talented seamstress, Mrs. Messier had worked for several stores in Worcester. She also spent many years as a manager of the Coffee Shop at the former Worcester City Hospital.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
