Subscription Update Obituary

Felicia A. (Szczepanek) Bleau, 86, of 29 Phillips Ave., passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, Friday, September 30th, in her home.

Felicia's husband of 56 years, Walter L. Bleau, passed away in 2003. She is survived by her children, George W. Bleau and his wife Lucy of Rochester NH, Karen E. Boulette and her husband Wayne of N. Brookfield, Jeffrey J. Bleau of Shrewsbury; three grandchildren, George Jr., Leslie and Amy; three great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Three brothers, Stanley, Chester and Walter Szczepanek and two sisters, Emily Tyburski and Phyllis Szczepanek predeceased her. She was born in Palmer, her parents were the late Joseph and Karolina (Nowak) Szczepanek. She lived in Shrewsbury more than 58 years.

Felicia worked for the former Sprague Electric Co. as a Quality Control Inspector over 10 years, before retiring.

She was a member of St. Anne's Church. Her interests were gardening and being a homemaker. Her family was her love, devotion and greatest enjoyment.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, October 4th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Anne's Church, 130 Boston Turnpike Rd. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 3rd, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tower Hill Botanical Gardens, 11 French Dr., Boylston 01505.
