Subscription Update Obituary

   Fairybell (Washington) Golightly Kissi, 53, of Worcester died Sun. Dec. 21, after a long battle with cancer.

   She leaves two sons, Rufus and Lamont Golightly; a daughter, Angelina Kissi; a step-son Lawrence Kissi; a step daughter, Irene Kissi all of Worcester; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Quincy Washington of Worcester and Lewis Washington of Maine; two sisters, Antoinette Ford and Monica Dillon both of Worcester; two aunts, Lucile Andrews and Frances Hollins and many nieces and nephews. A sister, Gwendolyn Ayeni, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Quincy and Fairybelle (Mason) Washington and graduated from North High School.

   Fairybelle loved children and was employed by many agencies in the city helping the less fortunate with physical and mental disabilities, most recently working at the Seven Hills. She will be sadly missed by all.

   The Funeral Service will be held Mon., Dec. 29 at 11:30AM in CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A Visiting Hour will be held Mon., Dec. 29 from 10:30 until the time of the service.
