Everett M. Witt, 94, formerly of Shrewsbury, died on Saturday, November 10 in the Meadows of Leicester after a short illness.

   Mr. Witt is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Catherine (Guglielmello) of Worcester; two children: David M. Witt and Katherine D. Adams, both of Worcester; four grandchildren: Michael Witt, Mark Witt, Michelle Witt and Sheri Malvey and six great grandchildren. Mr. Witt was born in Worcester, son of Peter and Eva (Bonner) Witt.

   Everett loved his lifelong work in sales. He later was a security guard well into his 70’s at the former Sheraton on Lincoln St. Mr. Witt also loved to refinish furniture, make hand carved walking sticks and spend time in his garden.

   A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, November 14 from 10 to 11 AM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St., Worcester. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
