Subscription Update Obituary

     Evelyn M. (Daley) Jakusik, 89, of Auburn, formerly of Worcester, died peacefully on October 29, 2013 in Rose Monahan Hospice Residence. Her husband Edward P. Jakusik died in 2003. She leaves two daughters, Jane E.Jakusik-Hurd and her husband Arno and Linda J. Reidy; a son, Paul E. Jakusik and his wife Marianne; a brother, Richard Daley; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester a daughter of William and Mary (Sankoski) Daley.

     Evelyn was a waitress for Bergeson’s Restaurant for many years prior to retiring. She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.

     The funeral will be held on Friday, November 1, 2013 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 12:30 PM in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held on Friday, November 1, from 11:00 to 12:00 PM in the funeral home.
