Subscription Update Obituary

    Evelyn C. (Snyder) Foster, 69, of Worcester, died Saturday, October 17 at Neuro-Rehabilitation Center, Acton St, Worcester.

    Her husband, Charles Foster, Jr., predeceased her. She leaves three sons: Charles Foster and George Foster of Worcester, and John Foster of Shrewsbury; a daughter, Florence Chiapulis and her husband Kenneth of Warren, MA; a brother, Alfred Snyder of North Carolina; four sisters: Ethel L'Ecuyer and Marion Willett of Worcester, June Mineau of Connecticut, and Florence Stuber of New York; a daughter-in-law, Dawn Foster of Charlton; seven grandchildren: Kenneth, Amy, and Celena Foster, Tabitha Rodriguez, Robert Foster, Jr., Joseph and Anthony Foster; nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by her son, Robert Foster; three brothers; and three sisters. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Joseph and Mary (Hammond) Snyder.

    Evelyn worked for Risdon Specialty Moulding in Holden. She enjoyed her grandchildren.

    Calling hours will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, October 22, at Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Avenue, followed by a service at 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
