Subscription Update Obituary

Eunice M. (Gerry) Hoyle , 86, formerly of 24 Keyes St., Oakdale, died yesterday in the Masonic Home, Charlton, after an illness.

Her husband of 61 years, Chester S. Hoyle , died in 1994. She leaves two sons, Chester C. Hoyle of Worcester and Robert E. Hoyle of Rutland; three daughters, Judith M. Bashaw of Paxton, Carol J. Hoyle -Ballard of Bolton and Marion G. Chapman of Princeton; two sisters, Margaret Ludvigson of Millbury and Lynne Rabideau of Lancaster; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two nephews. She was born in Worcester, daughter of George W. and Julia M. (Rollins) Gerry, and came to Oakdale since 1936. She lived there before moving to Charlton in 1994.

Mrs. Hoyle was a member of Oakdale United Methodist Church and its Acorn Club. She was an enthusiastic craftsman.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Massachusetts Association for the Blind, 51 Harvard St., Worcester 01609; or the West Boylston Ambulance Fund, care of the West Boylston Fire Department, 39 Worcester St., West Boylston 01583.
