Subscription Update Obituary

     Ernest A. Hebert 83 of King Court, died Monday, Jan. 27 at The Meadows of Leicester.

     He leaves his wife of 60 years, Shirley T. (Caron) Hebert, a son James E. Hebert of Fitchburg, two daughters Arlene M. Hebert of Seattle, Wash, and Susan M. D’Amato and her husband Donald of Spencer, a granddaughter Amanda M. Brown of Worcester and two great grandchildren Candace and Kaylin Blanchard of Spencer.

     Ernest was an expeditor for the former Worcester Geer Works for 47 years, retiring in 1999. He was born in Worcester, the son of Ernest J. and Pearl (Roy) Hebert and graduated from the former Classical High in Worcester. He later served in the US Air Force Reserves during the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Joseph/St. Pius X Parish and a member of the US Air Force Association.

     The funeral will be held on Thursday, Jan. 30 from the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St. Leicester with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, 1153 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow with Military Honors in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Wednesday, Jan. 29 from 5 to 7p.m. in the funeral home.
