Subscription Update Obituary

    Ellen P. Boucher, 59, of Worcester, and formerly of Manchaug, died Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009 at home after an illness.

    She leaves two daughters: Jodi Dills and her husband Paul of Whitinsville and Melissa Lieberwirth of Marstons Mills; two sons: Jon Boucher and his wife Lisa of Oakham, and Justin Boucher and his wife Robin, with whom she happily lived; three sisters: Debra Flagg of Auburn, Rita Flagg of New York and Nicky Clayton of Worcester; two brothers: Ralph Flagg Jr. of Douglas and Edward Flagg of Manchaug; her lifelong friend, Karen Buzzee of Orange; two stepdaughters: Linda Ladroga of Holden and Lisa Kelly of Worcester; twelve grandchildren and five great-grandsons.

    Her mother, Lillian J. (Fahey) Flagg, died in 2003 and her brother, William Flagg, died in 2001.

    Ellen was born in Worcester and lived many years in Manchaug, before returning to live in Worcester. She last worked at Imperial Distributors, Inc.

    The family would like to thank VNA Hospice for all their support, care and compassion.

    Calling hours are Sunday, Oct. 4 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester. The funeral will be Monday, Oct. 5 from the funeral home with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Paul’s Cathedral, 15 Chatham St., Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
