Ellen Wallach, lovingly known as Al, passed away all of a sudden on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 in Worcester, at the age of 50.
     Al grew up in Orangeburg, NY and spent the last part of life in Worcester, MA. She is survived by her mother, Lorna Bernard, as well as her loving brothers, Matthew of Hackensack, NJ and David and his wife Susan of Pearl River, NY. She is also survived by her niece, Rachel; step mother Frada, and half siblings, Levi and Johanna. Al is predeceased by her father, Jack Wallach and her step-father, Kelly Bernard.
     Al will be remembered for her true kindness to others, a keen sense of humor and extensive talent as an artist.
     Private services were held in Massachusetts under the care of CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester.
