Subscription Update Obituary

     Elizabeth H. “Libby” Gabis, 75, of Worcester died Tuesday, November 6th, 2012 in St. Vincent Hospital after an illness. She leaves her husband of 56 years, David F. Gabis, Sr.; a son, S. Dewayne Gabis of Worcester; a daughter, Darlene Milionis and her husband, Greg of Worcester; a brother, Larry Huggins of Hartsville, SC; two sisters, Jean Stratton and Brenda Sullivan both of Hartsville, SC; six grandchildren, Melissa, Georgia, Kristen, Vasiliki, Gregory and Nikolaos; three great grandchildren, Akhai, Launa and Cole and several nieces and nephews including Dr. Jennifer Do. She was predeceased by a son, David F. Gabis, Jr.
     Mrs. Gabis was born in Hartsville, South Carolina the daughter of Samuel A. and Trudy Fay (Boykin) Huggins. Libby was a frame spinner for 20 years at S & D Spinning Mill in Millbury, retiring in 2011. She enjoyed going to the ocean, Twin Rivers, cookbooks and watching cooking shows. Libby loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
     A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 9th in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Thursday, November 8th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue.
