Subscription Update Obituary

   Elizabeth H. (Shea) Dozois, 81, formerly of 15 Mary Ann Drive, Worcester, died Monday, December 10, 2007 at the Dodge Park Rest Home.

   Her husband of 50 years, Kenneth E. Dozois, died in 1997. Her son, Paul Dozois, died in 1975. She leaves three children: Linda S. Barry of Worcester, Gail E. Lent of Sterling and John E. Dozois of Holden; seven grandchildren: Lisa and Patrick Barry, Trina Chilton, Eric Chevalier, and Jeffrey, Claire and Stephen Dozois; a great-grandson, Julien Chevalier; a sister, Catherine F. Malpass of Auburn, and many nieces and nephews.

   She was born in Worcester, daughter of William E. and Agnes M. (Campbell) Shea and lived in Worcester all her life.

   Mrs. Dozois worked at Jamesbury Company for more than 20 years, retiring in 1988. She enjoyed playing bingo, bowling and visits to Foxwoods.

   She was generous and selfless, and was always concerned for the welfare of others.

   Calling hours at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster Street, Worcester, are Wednesday, December 12 from 4 to 7 p.m. The funeral Mass will be Thursday, December 13 at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 25 Fales Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.

  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Worcester County Food Bank, 474 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
