Subscription Update Obituary

   Eli F. Burbo, 76 of 75 Catharine Terrace, was stricken ill and died Friday in his home.

   He was a cook at the Bus Terminal Restaurant in Burlington Vt., retiring in 1938.

   He leaves two sons, Eugene burbo of New York and Edward Burbo of Burlington, Vt.; a daughter, Mary, wife of Thomas Santone of Burlington, Vt.; two brothers, william J. and Elmer R. Burbo, both of Worcester; three sisters, Florence M., wife of Herbert Jenney, Eva M., wife of charles Gelardi, both of Worcester, and Viola D. Lamotte of Burlington, Vt.; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

   He was born in Shelburne, Vt., son of Frank and Selina (Cludgo) Burbo, and lived here many years.

   The funeral will be held tomorrow from Alfred Roy & Sons funeral Home, 12 Hammond St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. John’s church, 40 Temple St.  Burial will be in Worcester county Memorial park, Paxton. Calling hours at the funeral home are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
