Subscription Update Obituary

Eleanor A. (Reilley) Bovenzi, 80, of Worcester, died Wednesday, June 6, 2007 peacefully at home with her family after a brief illness. Her husband Ralph P. Bovenzi died in 1990.

Eleanor is survived by her loving family; three daughters, Ann Danielson and her husband Floyd of St. Cloud, Florida, Gail Brunelle and her husband Gary of Wales, MA, Linda McDonnell wife of the late Jeffrey McDonnell, a son, Bernard Bovenzi, and his long time companion Kathy Hutchinson of Worcester, eighteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and a daughter-in-law Elaine Bovenzi of Southbridge, and many nephews and nieces.

Eleanor was predeceased by a son, Paul Bovenzi, a granddaughter Tina (Brunelle) Chenier, four brothers, William, Edmond, Owen, and the Rev. Bernard Reilley, and two sisters, Jean Laliberty, and Kathryn Patterson. She was born in Worcester daughter of William and Kathryn (Donnelly) Reilley and lived in Leicester for thirty five years before returning to Worcester sixteen years ago. Eleanor worked for the TJ Max Company at their Distribution Center for many years before she retired in 1990. Eleanor was a member of St Charles Borromeo Church, and was a volunteer for twenty eight years at the Worcester Seven Hills Foundation Bingo, and also at the Worcester Lodge Of Elks. She enjoyed being with her family especially her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and will be missed by everyone that knew her.

The funeral for Eleanor will be held Saturday from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 A. M. in St Charles Borromeo Church, 341 June St. Calling hours in the funeral home are 5-8 P. M. on Friday. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Seven Hills Foundation, 81 Hope Ave Worcester, MA 01603.
