Subscription Update Obituary

    Eileen P. (Walsh) Pelletier, of Worcester died on Thursday, July 22, 2010 surrounded by her loving family in Saint Vincent Hospital after a brief illness.

    Mrs. Pelletier is survived by two sons, Thomas Shea and his wife Bridget of Chicopee and Cornelius Shea and his wife Deirdre of Shrewsbury; two daughters, Mary G. Shea of Chicopee and Therese Pelletier and her husband Scott of Sutton; a step-son, Michael R. Pelletier and his wife Deborah of Worcester; two sisters, Dorothy Gentile and twin Sr. Catherine Walsh SSM both of Worcester; nine grandchildren: Adam, Nicholas, Tara, Thomas, Daniel, MaryClaire, Conor, Eileen and Anthony and many nieces and nephews.

    Mrs. Pelletier was predeceased by her husband Ernest Pelletier who died in 2009, her first husband Thomas Shea who died in 1989, a brother John Walsh and two sisters Mary Ellen Flynn and Kathleen Foley. She was born in Worcester daughter of the late John P. and Catherine (Sullivan) Walsh and is a graduate of the David Hale Fanning School.

    Eileen was a Health Aide for many years at Catholic Charities and was an avid bowler, line dancer and frequented the Worcester Senior Center. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo but was most happy when she was able to attend her grandchildren's sporting events.

    The funeral will be held on Monday, July 26th from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St. with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Stephen's Church, 357 Grafton St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be on Sunday, July 25th from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
