Subscription Update Obituary

Eileen Ahearn Page, 75, of Worcester, died peacefully Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006 at her home surrounded by her family. Her husband of 25 years, James A. Page, died in 1980.

She leaves five children, Kevin J. and his wife Susan Page of Cape Coral, Fla., John J. and his wife Erin Page of Spencer, Kerry E. and her husband Alan Thorpe, Daniel E. and his wife Denise Page, and James M. and wife Jennifer Page, all of Worcester; her twin brother, Emmett R. and his wife Gloria Ahearn of Palmer and her brother John "Jake" and his wife Jean Ahearn of Clinton, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Eileen was born in Palmer, daughter of John and Mary (Farrelly) Ahearn and moved to Worcester 44 years ago. She graduated from Palmer High School. She was a bookkeeper and worked at O'Coin's on Mill St. for 12 years before retiring. Previously, she worked for the Maurice F. Reidy Co. for 15 years. She was a member of the Emblem Club. She was an avid fan of both the Red Sox and the Yankees. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Calling hours at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester, are Friday, Dec. 29 from 5 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be held Saturday, Dec. 30 from the funeral home with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 341 June St., Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
