Subscription Update Obituary

     Edward T. Mellor, 67, of Worcester, died on Tuesday, October 9 in St. Vincent Hospital.

     Mr. Mellor is survived by his mother, Mildred (LaFreniere) Mellor of Worcester; three sisters: Sandra Lindsay of Norwich, CT, Linda Langevin of Hudson, FL and Evelyn Giguere of Worcester. Mr. Mellor is also survived by many nephews and nieces and is predeceased by two brothers: Frederick and Benjamin Mellor and a sister, Patricia Parker.

     Edward was born in Ware, MA, son of Howard F. Mellor and graduated from the Worcester Public Schools and attended the Adult Education Center at Assumption College. He worked as a painter for various contractors in the Worcester and Framingham areas.

     Mr. Mellor was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching both the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He also enjoyed fishing at various local ponds around Worcester.

     The funeral services are being privately held. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St. is directing arrangements.
