Edward M. Ruderman, 82, of 34-1 Thayer Pond Rd., died on Thursday, July 16th at the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence in Worcester.
His wife of 51 years, Marjorie (Stearns) Ruderman died in 1999. He leaves three sons, Bruce Ruderman of Rutland, Philip Ruderman of Pittsfield and Mark Ruderman of Arizona and seven grandchildren. He was predeceased by his twin sister, Thera Levin and by his brother, Ted Ruderman.
He was born in Worcester and was a son of Robert and Jenny (Gordon) Ruderman and was raised in Worcester, where he lived for many years. He later lived for a number of years in East Patchogue, Long Island, NY and he has been a resident of North Oxford for the past 24 years (through 2009).
He worked for Hammond Plastics for many years, first in manufacturing and then later as a sales representative. He later worked as a sales representative for AMCO in Long Island and afterwards for American Polymers in Oxford, retiring last year.
He was a Navy Veteran of World War II.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on MONDAY, JULY 20th in Perlman Funeral Home, 1026 Main St., Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Memorial Observance will be announced at the time of the funeral. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
