Edward Lempicki passed away at home under the care of his children on Thursday, August 2, 2012. He was 94. His beloved wife, Margaret (Ring) Lempicki, died in 2005.
He is survived by his children, Edward Lempicki and wife Sharon of Holden, Judith Breen of Princeton, Carol Algier and husband David of Charlton, and Janice Gallagher and husband Neil of Brockton; granddaughters, Leisa Howard and Suzanne and Michelle Breen; great-grandchildren, Madison and Logan Howard and André French; brothers, Bernard, Rudy, and Paul Lempicki; and sisters, Sophie Kosky and Mae Houston. He was predeceased by his sister, Gladys Damik.
Edward was born in Worcester, son of Walter and Josephine (Falicki) Lempicki.

He was a graduate of Worcester Boys Trade High School. He was a WWII army veteran serving here and overseas. He worked at Heald Machine Co. for 41 years, retiring at the age of 62. He was very knowledgeable, “a jack-of-all-trades” and could fix anything. He was a 55-year member of the Burncoat Baptist Church where he enjoyed the bible study class and worship service each Sunday. Ed loved working in his vegetable garden each season and enjoyed sharing his harvest with others. He was an avid Red Sox fan. He was a quiet and gentle man. His life revolved around his family – loving and providing for them. His wife, Margaret, was the love of his life.
