Subscription Update Obituary

     Edward J. Dzingavitch, 99, passed away Friday, March 22, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital. Edward’s beloved wife, Catherine (Coffey) Dzingavitch passed away in 1990. Edward leaves his loving children, Jean M. Nardi of Worcester, Barbara A. Laconto and her husband James of Sturbridge, Judy A. Masiello and her husband Steve of Worcester, James E. Dzingavitch of Worcester and Paul F. Dzingavitch and his wife Denise of Worcester; eleven grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, his sister, Helen Zdankowski of Quincy and several nieces and nephews. Edward was predeceased by four children, Robert, Richard A., Edward J. Dzingavitch and Mary A. Langley and two grandsons, Thomas J. Nardi and Stephen Masiello.
     Edward was born in Cambridge the son of Walter and Mary (Boronoski) Zinkevich and attended Cambridge Public Schools. He was a WW II Army veteran. Edward owned and operated Superior Window Cleaners and also worked at Telechron, a division of General Electric.
Edward traveled extensively throughout the United States and Mexico up until the age of 92. He loved to relax and enjoy reading a good book.
     Edward’s funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 28th at 10:00 AM at CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, March 27th from 5:00 until 8:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Massachusetts Veteran’s Shelter, 69 Grove St., Worcester, MA 01605.
