Subscription Update Obituary

     Dorothy M. (Corfield) Dunham, 92, of Worcester died on Saturday, June 14th in Knollwood Nursing Center.

     Dorothy was married to William F. Dunham who died in 1997. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia A. Jeniski of Charlotte, NC and Diane M. Penney and her husband Michael of Sterling, MA; a son, Mark D. Dunham and his wife Michelle Constantine of Fort Myers, FL; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.

     Mrs. Dunham was born in Lowell, MA daughter of the late John and Alice (St. Ives) Corfield and is also predeceased by two sons, Paul Dunham and William Dunham Jr. as well as a brother, Richard Corfield.

     Dorothy is a graduate of South High School in Worcester and worked in the payroll department for the Thom McAn Shoe for many years. She was also a member of the Woman’s Auxiliary at the Southworks V.F.W. Post.

     The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff of Knollwood Nursing Home for the exceptional and compassionate care that was given to Dorothy during the later years of her life.

     A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th at 11 AM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 18th from 5 to 7 PM in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Employee Appreciation Fund c/o Knollwood Nursing Home 87 Briarwood Circle Worcester, MA 01606.
