Subscription Update Obituary

Dorothy L. (Voellings) Morang, 80, died Sunday, August 7, 2011 at Radius Healthcare of Worcester. Her husband Lester D. Morang predeceased her in 1998. She leaves three daughters, Linda Redmond and Karen Morang, both of Charlton and Andrea Fitzgerald and husband Raymond of Worcester; five grandchildren, James Bachand and wife Linda of Webster, Laura Bachand of Worcester, Derek Morang of Charlton and Ray and Kerri Fitzgerald of Worcester; two great grandchildren, Victoria and Ashley Bachand of Webster. She also leaves a sister, Eleanora Perry; four brothers, John, William, Paul and Ralph Voellings and her best friend of 65 years, Barbara Rose. She was predeceased by three brothers, Herman, Ernest and Conrad Voellings.

She was born in Clinton, the daughter of John C.F. and Hilda T. (Nelson) Voellings. Dorothy was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed playing Cribbage, Rummy and traveling. Dorothy’s family would like to thank the staff at Radius Healthcare for the wonderful care in which their mother received.

Family and friends are invited to gather at CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester at 9:30 AM on Thursday, August 11 to go in procession to Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton for a 10:30 graveside service. Please omit flowers.
