Dorothy G. (Francis) Marble, 96, died Saturday, August 16 at Autumn Village Nursing Home.

   Her husband, Kenneth L. Marble, died in 2002. She leaves two sons, Allan F. Marble of Dudley and John Marble and his wife Ruth of Clinton; two daughters, Gail Walker of Chapala, Mexico and Logan Barrett of Arizona; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. A brother, Alden Francis, and a sister, Geneva Francis, predeceased her. She was born in Newark, NJ, daughter of Henry M. and Lillie E. (Lark) Francis, and lived in Worcester most of her life.

   Dorothy was owner of an assisted living home for women. She also worked as an office clerk for an insurance company. She was a member of the Second Church of Christ, Scientist in Worcester. She was also a Cub Scout den mother.

   A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 29 at RICE FUNERAL HOME, 300 Park Ave. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 36 Cameron Ave., Cambridge, MA 02140.
