Subscription Update Obituary

Donna (Wood) Clark, 95, formerly of Leicester and Rochdale, MA, died Tuesday, July 19, 2011 in St. Francis Nursing Home in Worcester after a short illness.

She was pre-deceased by her husbands: Leo W. Snay in 1955, Stephen Parker in 1965 and George M. Clark in 2006 and four sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by her daughters: Nancy M. (Snay) Conlon and her husband Tom of Worcester, Kathleen (Snay) Thompson of Woodstock, CT, and a son, Wayne Snay and his wife Linda of Rochdale. She also leaves five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Donna was born in Stafford Springs, CT, on August 14, 1915, daughter of Walter and Teresa (Lawless) Wood and was raised in West Rutland, MA. She graduated from the former Rutland, MA High School in 1934.

She formerly worked at MKM Hosiery Mills in Rochdale, Heywood Schuster Woolen Mill in East Douglas and retired from Worcester Tool and Stamping in Rochdale in 1997 at the age of 81.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 22 at 10 A.M. in the MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Thursday from 4-6 P.M. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial donations be made out to the Rutland Lions Club, P.O. Box 626, Rutland, MA 01543, to benefit eye research.
